2024 IBAMA Young Artist Program

The “Young Artist Program”, initiated by the International Belgian Association for Music and Art (IBAMA), was successfully held in China in the summer of 2024. This inaugural event, led by IBAMA Co-Chairmans Yibo Guo and Valery Konevin, featured Italian youth classical guitarist Davide Picci and extended into several cities in Shandong, Tianjin, and Henan provinces. Through masterclasses, lectures, and public benefit concerts, the program fostered high-quality cultural interaction and pedagogical collaboration with Chinese musicians.
Key Highlights:
- Hosted 7 lectures and performances, reaching over 3,000 audience members;
- Collaborated with numerous local music institutions to establish a platform for musical cooperation, aimed at Chinese-European youth;
- The inter-instrumental, cross-cultural, and multilingual teaching and performance formats were widely acclaimed;
- The program garnered attention from multiple media outlets, enhancing IBAMA’s influence in the field of international arts education.
